i'm on this new kick of handmade gifts. to me, they mean so much more than say, a gift card and a hallmark greeting card (not to say that materialistic gifts don't have their place... they do, but i love handmade stuff more). so for my sister-in-law's birthday on sept. 24, i made her a headband and a card. i wanted to keep the headband for myself but i resisted.
