St. George - January 2014

Due to winter blues and vacation starved since September, we opted for a little road trip to St. George for the MLK weekend. It has been so nice to breath some cleaner, warmer air and have some little adventures together.

Colter hates being in a car seat so we were nervous for the drive but he was a champ thanks to a DVD player and some suckers. And breastfeeding in the car seat.

Ezra has been really into racing cars ever since his cousin kobe showed him a Need for Speed iPad game so we took him to Fiesta Fun for some go karts.

We followed that up with some delicious Outback (yay for gift cards) and the token Target run. Then it was Blizzards, Justin falling asleep next to the fireplace at 8 pm, the boys running around like crazies and watching a game show no one was interested in. Fun!

The next day we had McDonalds breakfast and headed out to Snow Canyon. In all my trips to St. George I can't believe I'd never seen Snow Canyon. Just a really beautiful place. We did a 1/2 mile "hike" and then played in the sand dunes. It made the trip for me. Such a cool place for pictures too, I may need to bring a non-iPhone camera next time. But my phone is definitely one of my favorite cameras.

Then we washed the filthy car, grabbed some subs, and got started on Championship Sunday. Took a quick hot tub break and then hit the park.

We were nervous but the Seahawks managed to pull out the W and we were finally ready to eat dinner at 9 pm. LOL. The next day we packed up and headed home, so glad we made the trip.

Hope you all had a pretty awesome MLK weekend too!
